It all started when…
Jon finished his scholarship at Tulane, undecided on what direction to go in. School offered many suggestions, but the desire to go in them seemed to lead to a gloomy destiny. After working with his uncle building a porch, he found a spark that eventually fueled a fire. A year later he had enough skills to join Cajun Construction, a Mississippi based framing crew who framed houses together in a matter of days. After a few houses he decided to renovate his own run down home. A double shotgun in the Carrollton area. With the help of some friends and a few month later, he completed his first renovation and started Andersen Design + Build. Jon teamed up with a friend and renovated a house for Reverend Norwood Thompson, the man who led prayers on Thursdays for the New Orleans city council. Following that completion, he started his first new build and has exploded into new builds ever since. Jon is now able to work with clients on building their dream who. Geared towards first time home buyers or more complex homes, he works with many architects and engineers to make it happen.
